Club Management

Walnut Creek Country Club has a 12 member Board of Directors to govern the facility. While the directors are not directly responsible for the day-to-day operation of the club, they do get involved with setting the direction of our club with respect to new offerings, club finances and the evaluation of the club management team. In addition, several members are responsible for committee leadership to help the club serve the needs of our members.

The 2009-2010 Board of Directors are as follows, with their respective committee assignments:

  • Mr. Harold Rose - Vice President
  • Mr. Pat Murphy - Secretary
  • Mr. Al Grisette - Treasurer; Budget & Finance, Internal Affairs & Insurance
  • Dr. Scott LaFevers & Ms. Judith McMillen - Building & Grounds, House & Special Events
  • Mr. Bill Watson & Mr. Gareth Jones - Golf, Greens, Tournament
  • Mr. Jeff Denton and Mr. Gene Braswell- Membership & Marketing
  • Mr. Tom Howell & Dr. Scott La Fevers - Pool, Tennis
  • Mr. Bobby Strickland, Village Relations
